Military Bounty Land Warrant

In addition to their pension files, many soldiers in wars before 1855 also had bounty land files. Even if they didn’t actually relocate to their bounty land, there would still be paperwork associated with it.

Please note:  Not every soldier received bounty land, so we have to have an entry in the BLM index in order to get these files.  That index entry has the exact file numbers, so we have to have that.   Please contact us before ordering if you need help finding this information.  

If you find your ancestor in that database, either send the URL or the information on the entry, to ensure that we are searching for the correct soldier.
