War of 1812 Pension File and Compiled Service Records

Military pension files are some of the best genealogical sources out there.  They usually tell information about his service in the war, his life after the war, and details about his family. 

The service records are small files, but they can have information in them about where the soldier was and what his regiment was doing.  

 Details & Terms

• You will receive full color images of the records, delivered electronically.  
• Please allow for 4-6 weeks at the most for delivery, but in many cases it will be shorter than that. 
• These are only available for soldiers alphabetically T-Z.  The others have been either been scanned and uploaded on to Fold3.com, or they have been puled aside for future digitization.     
• Please be sure you submit the correct details.  We're not responsible if you order the wrong soldier.  If you have a War of 1812 ancestor, but you're not sure what's available to order, click here and we can help you start the process.
